Latest News 2010!
Hi Everyone,
Well, we had a lot of obstacles this year and some things didn’t work out, but all in all we are delighted to have spent another year with our racing family and would like to thank you for being a part of the 2010 IRMXA season.
On the 13th of August we had a storm that left a mess on the track right after John Moore, Jake Hatcher and Scott Hegg had donated their time getting the track ready for Saturday, August 14th. For everyone’s benefit they showed up early on race day (Scott 5:30AM) and worked on the track again! Instead of having to cancel, these guys made it work and they deserve a big THANK YOU for that!
The fantastic postcard we mailed out was designed by Marc Walburg and we couldn’t be more pleased with it. They were purchased & mailed out by the Marty Family. It’s people like these we are so grateful to.
On a sad note, We are ending our term with IRMXA this year in order to concentrate on expanding our business, Wanna Ride?, and spending more time with our family. This is such a great community and we have really enjoyed working with everyone so much. It’s with a heavy heart we hand this venture over to someone with more time. We have talked with a couple of people about taking it over, but have not gotten any commitments at this time. If you, or anyone you know might want to run IRMXA please contact Jackie at 715-817-0255.
Thanks again everyone for being you. It’s been a fun ride. We’ll see you on the trails!
Jackie & Ed

Hi Everyone:
Our winter has been fun and exciting!! We have had 3 snowmobile and quad races, and there's one more to go!! It is being hosted at Deep Lake Lodge and Steak House on March 13th, with racing starting at NOON!!! Come and get your adrenaline rush!!
The track and fairgrounds have been turned over to Bayfield County Tourism and Recreational Department. Now for some BAD news: We were notified on Friday March 5th that Bayfield County Tourism and Recreation, and Bayfield County Fair Board want to cut out half the track. Click here to see picture! Any part inside the red line is property we are not allowed to use. The cuts are not allowing us enough room for a track and parking. So, we are asking anyone that is involved in I.R.M.X.A. to write to a letter to the B.C.T.and R. in support of the I.R.M.X.A. We don't want to see the end of I.R.M.X.A., but we have been put on the chopping block. We have no other land, money to purchase land, or the equipment to have a decent track built by June. It would be beneficial if we were allowed to be there for the upcoming year without many drastic track changes. This would allow us to get another plan in action. We are also looking for any suggestions from our racers, family, and friends. All input and suggestions would be great. We have a few ideas, but really would like to hear from you. Again, we don't want this to be the end of I.R.M.X.A. Help support I.R.M.X.A. and send your letters in. In cutting the track they never took into consideration the job loss of our employees, the business that the racers and fans bring to Iron River. The average race employs 12 to 15 people and has 115 racers that bring people to help watch and have fun. All these people support our local businesses. We need your help to convince these people not to cut the track use. PLEASE call or write!!
Hope this finds everyone healthy and happy. Thank-you for your continued support.
Sincerely, Jackie & Ed
